We had a very large party for a birthday. The place is really cool and definitely adapt for large gatherings. Our server Josie was great at handling our large group and table full of loud kids. I rated the food 3 stars because nothing tasted bad but it wasn’t exceptional either. The onion rings were $19 but they were huge and tasted really good. The coyote balls tasted like a ball of fried hashbrowns and I didn’t feel like they were worth the hype. The Elote bites also just tasted like another fried ball. The loaded brisket potato was $15 and it was filling but only had 4 small slices of brisket on top. The meat itself was kind of dry and bland. The bbq sauce was delicious. The 1 meat plate with 2 sides was $15 and was large and filling. The toast was great, the gravy was ehh. We also had a kids chicken tenders with fries for $10 and the chicken was homemade and good. The sweet tea was good. All in all for this size of group it was a good experience. We would like to come back and give the food another shot when it’s just the two of us and maybe try some other options.
This place is legendary for their catfish, onion rings and chicken fried steak and I can see why. Everything was amazing and cooked perfectly. The onion rings are not greasy at all and the portions are huge. The live music was great. Don’t miss this local gem!
I ordered the chicken tender meal with fried okra and mac & cheese, and it was absolutely delicious! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I can’t remember our waitress’s name, but she went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. We’ll definitely be back!
We ordered to-go meals on the last night of our trip, but I wish we would’ve been able to come inside to enjoy the fun atmosphere. We got the sliced brisket, sausage, and chicken-fried steak! For sides, we had the mac&cheese, fried okra, and potato salad. The brisket was tender, the sausage had a great snap, and the chicken fried steak was crispy and HUGE!! We loved everything. We’d absolutely come back! Hopefully next time we can come inside.
Decided to check out THE LOCO COYOTE GRILL for lunch... Awesome biker bar/grill out in the middle of nowhere... Amazing food, crazy decor, and awesome service. They were not kidding when they said the large burger was large... This thing is like a meatloaf on a hoggie bun.
Bring your appetite! The portions are big. I was shocked at how much food they served me. I ordered the chicken tenders gravy and texas toast with frys and pinto beans for my two sides. Usually, ( at other places ) chicken tenders are 4-6 small pieces... not here! There were 8 large chicken tenders with a huge cup of gravy and frys that filled up the rest of my plate, the beans came in a separate cup on the side. Very flavorful, crispy and hot. Our server was attentive and on top of things and very pleasant. I had never been here before, but I'll definitely be back... my bill was under $20 and I took enough food home for 2 more meals. I cant wait to try more on the menu. 5 and highly recommend.
Food here is very good, however I got the loco bowl for first time it has brisket and sausage and beans. Bowl is twenty dollars and honestly not worth it, as you can see one sausage and little brisket the rest beans, plus beans had burnt taste to them ,you're better off ordering anything else off the menu. The coyote balls are amazing as always.
Waitress was a bit overwhelmed, several large parties, however, hostess was attentive and helped. Great place. The onion rings are worth the drive alone. You'll enjoy it!
